About Cameron Freeman

Cameron Freeman is the Lead Data Scientist for her team at Naval Information Warfare Center, Atlantic. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from College of Charleston, she went on to earn a Master of Science in Health Informatics from the Medical University of South Carolina. She has knowledge of Healthcare and Information Technology, her experience ranges from Clinical Research to data visualizations. Cameron has held many different titles in her career: Regulatory Associate, Database Administrator, Lead Data Scientist, and most recently Technical Lead & Project Lead. She lives her motto of "Know Thy Data, Know Thy People and Know Thy Systems".

In addition to her professional achievements, Cameron has a passion for helping others and giving back to her community. She is a third generation Kiwanis member as a member of East Cooper Kiwanis. She serves on the Service Committee and is the lead of the Young Executive group. Cameron enjoys giving back to her community, mentoring other young professionals, and saving lives by improving the data.
