on Handling Work/Career Stress in Turbulent Times

Handling Work/Career Stress in Turbulent Times

It is hard enough to work with the pace of change and level of complexity being so high.  Add to that serious turbulence and you got a “recipe” for serious stress and significant reduction in high quality productivity.

To get through the turbulence and come out stronger on the other side is not easy but it is possible.

In this session we talk about why turbulence reduces our ability to make proper decisions and give you ways to fight that ingrained biases. From there we will discuss techniques you can use to help work through the turbulence and continue to make decisions, effectively communicate, execute with precision and deal with the stress.

This is a HIGHLY interactive session.  We will share stories, discuss scenarios, share tips and provide support.  Items to be covered and discussed include:

- Affective Forecasting and Loss Aversion; what they are and how the impact your view of the future

- Dealing with the habit of setting dates for things to be better
- Controlling your inputs
- Getting inspired and being inspirational (why is still so important)
- Executing in smaller batches
- Resting smartly, thinking more and logging ideas
- Communicate, communicate, communicate and ensuring you are not just doing it over email
- Controlling decision making
- Keeping positive while be direct and honest

** Please Note: The Zoom information for this virtual meeting will be emailed 24 hours in advance to all registrants.
